About Me
My name is Imogene Eagan and I recently graduated from Western Washington University with a BA in Visual Journalism.
I have gravitated toward cameras and visual storytelling to express myself and document my world from a young age. While working toward my degree, I also worked for my school's athletics department for three years. I contributed predominantly as a photographer and later on, as a videographer. During my time with WWU Athletics, I co-founded the collaborative, student-run social media presence, Viking Creatives - a platform for me and my coworkers to share our best work, document and showcase Western athletics.
Also during my college career, I involved myself in freelance work to develop my video shooting/editing skills. I was the Media Coordinator for various school bands, most notably the Arlington High School Band program. I helped build their online brand and gain their program online exposure by managing social media, working with a team to provide holistic live and post-produced video/photo event coverage, creating student spotlight features, and more.
This summer, I will be taking the first step toward a career in sports media in a full-season Video Production Internship with my hometown team, the Seattle Seahawks!
